Privacy Policy

Kipani ("we," "us," or "our") is the coaching practice of Gabbie DeArmas. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and coaching services, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email hello@kipaniwellness.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the practice and communicate with you:

Account details — your name and email address when you create an account or sign in.
Waitlist entries — the email you provide when joining the Cycle-Aware Circle waitlist and your status (waiting, invited, joined, or removed).
Bookings — session type, date and time, and any notes you share when requesting or scheduling a session.
Course activity — your progress through lessons if you've enrolled in a course.
Messages — anything you send via our contact form or by email.
Payment details — handled directly by Stripe; we receive a confirmation and the last four digits of the card, never the full card number.
Basic technical data — IP address and browser information captured in server logs for security and to keep the site running.

We don't run advertising or third-party analytics trackers, and we don't sell your information.

How we use it

To deliver the service you asked for — scheduling, coaching, course access, waitlist updates.
To send transactional email (confirmations, reminders, receipts, waitlist status changes).
To operate and secure the site (fraud prevention, rate limiting, error monitoring).
To comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

Service providers we use

We use a small number of trusted vendors to run the practice. They only process data on our behalf:

Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, and authentication for account, waitlist, and booking data.
Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's own privacy policy for details.
Resend — sending transactional email such as booking confirmations and waitlist notices.

Cookies and local storage

We use only the cookies and browser storage strictly needed to run the site — keeping you signed in and remembering small UI preferences. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. For the full list, see our Cookies page. You can review or change your choices any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Your choices and rights

You can:

Access or update your account details from your account page.
Remove yourself from the Cycle-Aware Circle waitlist at any time from your account page.
Unsubscribe from any non-essential email using the link at the bottom of the message.
Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@kipaniwellness.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — the right to know what we hold, request deletion, correct it, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Contact us using the address above to make a request.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services you've requested. Booking, payment, and tax records may be retained longer where required by law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

Access to your data is protected by authentication, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and row-level access controls in our database. No system is perfect — if you suspect a security issue, please email us right away.

Children

Kipani is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site.
